Canadian hip-hop artist, Ambiguous, is an empowering and talented artist with the raw life experience needed to create an emotional connection with his listeners. Born in Alberta and raised in Nova Scotia, Ambiguous is currently based out of Edmonton, writing music and spreading awareness to Canadian youth. For ten years, he has worked with schools, youth centres, and correctional centres, holding awareness events and addressing issues regarding gangs and addiction in Nova Scotia and Edmonton. He gives his entirety to his music and his cause, and allows his personal truth relay an influential lesson. Ambiguous has performed opening acts for Canadian icons. His hip-hop career has stretched to a wide array of impressive collaborations with Classified (East Coast Music Award Winner, Much Music Video Award Winner, and Juno Nominee currently signed to Sony Music), Moka Only (3 time Juno Award Winner, and 2008 WCMA Nominee), Saukrates (currently signed to Universal Music, previously signed to Deff Jam), Choclair (Gold Record Award), and Kaleb Simmonds (Canadian Idol Finalist). Not only a youth activist, and musical trail blazer, Ambiguous has also tapped into the world of media connections. He has appeared as a cover story on Eastlink Television, a Maritime TV station. He has also been interviewed on radio stations including Magic 94.9 in Nova Scotia, and CJSR in Alberta. Ambiguous has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines around the East and West coasts. As a member of the Alberta Music Industry Association, Ambiguous has gained great exposure and had the opportunities of working with such artists as Politic Live (WCMA Nominee), Touch, of Touch & Nato (Western Canadian Award Nominee), and the list goes on. In 2007, Ambiguous produced his first music video with AVAV Productions called "Morning Destiny". He starred in the video, acting out a life of harmful choices, and eventually taking his life in a healthy direction. The video caused a positive uproar on Myspace and Youtube, and hit home with Ambiguous's target market. "Morning Destiny" was featured in the 2007 CBC Exposure Contest. Ambiguous later released his debut promo EP in 2008, titled "It's A Cold Night". Funds from this album were donated to the Edmonton Youth Emergency Shelter. Currently, Ambiguous is focused on his first full-length album titled "MORESIGHT". The album delves into self-exploration and actualization through hip-hop and spirituality. Touching on social issues, and personal struggles with the music industry, "MORESIGHT" is an extremely conscious minded album. Ambiguous is also working on a third album, which will take on a mainstream feel, featuring tracks from Moka Only, Choclair, Saukrates, Killah Priest and more. Ambigious is setting a mood with "MORESIGHT", and throwing a new vibe to his work with the following album, of which the title is yet to be announced.
