I was was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety disorder after the death of my parents. I have been unable to work or even go outside and do normal things as it is hard for for me to be around a lot of people I become very nervous and very panicky. My life for the last 2 years has been like being in jail in my own home. Back in 2016 I had quit my job to care for my parents full time my mom was suffering from Dementia and my dad was suffering from Aplastic Anemia a blood disorder. I was their caregiver I did all the cooking, cleaning and would give their medication and also taking them to their medical appointments. In August of 2017 my mom was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and it was to advanced to try and treat and given her age at the time 88 she wouldn't have made it through chemo therapy. She did get to celebrate her last birthday with us on September 1st and 3 weeks later on the 23rd she had passed away. I took it extremely hard and then a month and a half later on November 26 my father passed away at the age of 92. I was devastated I lost both my parents a month and a half apart. I did not want to eat and did not leave my room for weeks. I was so scared because I had lost so much weight and I was quickly losing control to the point that I was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks.  It was when I was hospitalized that I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety disorder. The only thing that brought me any happiness was my music. I have been into music since I was 14 I was a mobile dj and years later when I was in my 30s I started learning how to make electronic music. My mom would always like to hear me make my music I think that's why it gives me so much comfort when I am sitting at my desk making a song cause it makes me feel like my mom is right next to me listening. I have always wanted to build  a recording studio in my backyard that was my dream. I would get ideas from the internet on how I wanted to the studio look and the type of instruments and studio mixers I would like get and how I was looking forward to making this dream come true but when my parents died my dream died with it. That is why I'am hoping you could please help make this dream come true. Right now I just use my laptop with a small keyboard using music software. When I am working on my music it's like therapy for me and I feel like different man. I am able to smile even laugh and forget about my troubles. My psychiatrist said that music is my way of escaping and being able to feel normal that music is my comfort zone. I am able to forget the pain and sadness of my parents even if its just temporary. It's hard there are times when I cry for no reason. I want to be happy I want it to be like it was before when I would go out to a movie and just be normal. Most of the time I sit in my chair staring out the window for hours with very little appetite and not talking and I'm afraid. Depression is a scary thing that many people do not like to talk about like its a taboo many people just give up on life because of this but I am not!! This is why I am starting this page to be happy again to give purpose in life to smile and to definitely  laugh and to be able get this dream music studio so I can have real equipment and make music for myself and for the world.
