A.S.K. is a new web series that follow’s our Anti Hero Damian on his journey to gain self confidence, rid himself of his paralyzing anxiety and to achieve his ultimate goal of falling in love. Damian meets Glen an overly happy team builder who invites him to join his support group A.S.K. At first glance the members of A.S.K. seem to be your basic support group junkies, until one of them gets up and says. “Hi my name is Jamal and I’m a serial killer”. After the first meeting the group convinces Damian that if he joins them and becomes a serial killer he will get confidence, be anxiety free, meet Miss Right, and fall in love. Damian decides to join them, I mean if it does not work he can always try meditation. Through the series we meet Damian’s mother, best friend, boss, and co-worker’s. As we meet the people in his life we understand why a group of serial killers seems like it might just be the place to get help. Glen, the mediator of the group, sets Damian up with Warren as his sponsor and they go about grooming him for his first vic. Damian blunders his way through as members take him out on training nights, and he ruins all their kills. Glen seems to show up to save Damian each time. We also see Sarah the girl next door. Sarah already likes Damian who can’t see it and we watch them both awkwardly dance around their mutual attraction for each other. At work, Damian’s boss Mr. Ross and Co-worker Alice keep him in a constant state of turmoil and anxiety. Damian is not sure what to think, do, or say as he is inundated with sexual innuendos, pushed beyond his limits and given the advice “Balls to the wall”. Damian’s journey to become a serial killer is frat with more problems than successes, but he keeps trying. As he becomes more and more involved with A.S.K. we see his potential and find ourselves cheering for him to succeed and get his first vic. Once he does, it’s only the beginning of the fun to come.
