GAMES FOR SALE Since the 1970’s I’ve purchased hundreds of games. Reluctantly I now realize that even in retirement I do not have time to play them all. I am slowly listing most of my collection for sale in the BGG Marketplace. That will take a while so please look through my collection and send an offer by Geekmail if any interest you. BIO I am retired after a 45-year career in the law, early on in real property law; the final 25 years practicing bankruptcy law in Montpelier, the Vermont state capitol. My game ratings are based on solo play and may appear a bit high on average. That is because I try to avoid playing games that I know I won't like. I've played board games consistently since childhood. First game I received new that I still own is Global Air Race from 1952. Then Careers, Scoop, and many other now outmoded board games, and Monopoly of course. Tactics II was my first purchase of a "modern" game in 1958. Played Avalon Hill's Gettysburg and Dispatcher on Saturday afternoons in the late 50’s. Then many games from Strategy and Tactics magazine. Diplomacy in college. Then,for many years other things captured my time and interest. In the early 80’s I resumed board gaming in earnest. Over the past 20+ years, I've played, solo, almost daily. My board game interest is mostly Euros with little or no luck. Particularly worker placement, exploration, tile laying, and 18XX games. Spatial visualization and manipulation and mathy games are my forté. Not many games other than 18XX hinge entirely on this. Sometimes I wish I'd had a career using these skills.

After a terrible breach of my iCloud account, someone got into all my personal data, including sensitive financial details. They quickly emptied my bank accounts, maxed out my credit cards, and even tampered with my digital assets. With no way to recover right away, my finances fell apart completely. The theft left me broke and destroyed my sense of security, turning my life upside down.
