~~~__Shawn__ / Male / 27 / United States ~~~ I sometimes read manga but not often (Berserk is the best, tho), depends on if it hooks me, but my main focus is watching anime! I mainly lean into action or darker-themed stuff but have been known to delve into other things. Beyond any of that, I'm a gamer - I'll play on anything. PC, console, handheld. Massive fan of Japanese RPGs with a particular affinity for Dragon Quest and Tales. Though I also very much enjoy hack and slash and the occasional shooter. I'm not just an anime fanatic but a fanatic of all animation, television and movies. I quite enjoy things like Breaking Bad, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sons of Anarchy and other classic television. As well as 'so bad its good' movies. I'll watch anything, clearly! I'm also an avid reader of comic books and actual books. With comic books, I enjoy super heroes whether it be DC or Marvel and more story oriented books from other publishers (particularly East of West from Image, Walking Dead, etc). As far as actual books, I'm an avid reader of horror with the occasional random thing thrown in. I'm.. varied in my hobbies, obviously! Lol! - - - Anime is to be rated as far as my personal enjoyment dictates. I go with the 5 star scale with the following meanings.. 1. __Trash Tier__ | Nothing redeemable to be found here, something I'd barely call entertainment. 2. __Mediocre__ | Something that's on the verge of catching on or being entertaining but can't quite be consistent. 3. __Average__ | It'll do some things right, some things wrong, but generally watchable. 4. __Impressive__ | Something that might have a few bad episodes or something wrong that doesn't QUITE get it beyond the 4. 5. __Top Tier, The Very Best (Like No One Ever Was)__ | Usually an anime I consider flawless, or so entertaining it cannot be beaten. Of course these are all preference so... :3
