There once was a brainy little boy who liked dinosaurs, monsters, mythology and comic books. He loved and collected everything that had to do with them. This was not well supported by his peers at the time. In order to keep from getting his glasses broken on a regular basis, he began rigorous study in the martial arts. It became an equal passion and his glasses, after awhile, remained intact. The adolescent/teenage boy, his kung-fu stong now, searched the land and found 1st edition D&D and many other RPG's as well as cool, interesting friends to play them with. Though he was severely caught between being a geek and a jock, he liked to think he could be both and bring the populations together. Well, he could be both, but the populations....didn't always match up. Oh, yeah, and there were girls. The young man, while pursuing higher education and early career opportunities, engaged in anything that invloved hitting someone with a fist, foot, sword or stick. In sport and fair play, of course. However, he struggled with a dwindling interest among his friends in RPG's while his passion for it still burned bright. Umm...and there were still girls. The man, having completed a successful career as an amateur boxer and kickboxer, and gained a master's degree in clinical social work, got married to a wonderful woman and had kids. No one wanted to do RPG's anymore. He was sad. So, after resisting it for some time, he decided to see what this Board/Card gaming thing was. Balance in the universe was restored.

R.L. Scott was born in America and raised in Salvador Bahia Brazil. He began writing at the age of sixteen, and made his first short film at the age of 17 using an old beta cam. He always knew he would be a director and spent most of his young life learning all that he could about motion pictures. He graduated from College with a degree in film production where he also had the honor of interning for many stellar productions including films like "The Patriot", "O", "Ray" and a list of others. Since then, R.L. has been involved in over forty shorts and feature films in many capacities including writing, directing, fight choreography, production work, editing and sound design. In 1998, he formed his own production company "Shadow Motion Pictures" along with his partners Monyque Thompson Scott and Shaun Mixon. In 2008 he wrote, directed, and produced the feature film "Champion Road", which has seen great success worldwide on DVD through it's distribution.
