Movies or “film” at one point of my life was a great passion. But not in the sense of watching them, but making them. My brother and I, in our teen years filmed and edited dozens of short films. At one point I imagined us doing it for a living. But as all things go, we both enter the work force and moved on from making movies. Now, 20+ years removed from those days I’m realizing I never really sat down and watched many of the classic films you would have expected a kid who enjoyed to partake in the action of creating motion pictures should have seen. So that’s why I’m on this app. To finally take the journey and document the experience of all the great movies that I’ve missed out on over the years.  Now, I don’t do things at random, I have this weird need to start things at the beginning. So, I am going to start with the dawn of movie making. I want to experience the evolution of cinema through the decades. Now I don’t intend on watching every single thing that’s been put out during these eras, although I love to but I know I would never get out of any era doing that. So I’ll pick the highlights and hopefully get a good scope of the times these movies were created in. The capabilities of those times. The sense of the culture. I’m hoping to feel completely immersed in whatever era I’m in. . .
