I was raised in a multitude of dysfuntion. Animals were my way to deal...still are. As my own daughter matured, I woke up to the life my mother raised me in and started recognizing the dysfunction in my behavior. I want to change, grow and explain. If I can write it down the way it really happened and if I write it down without mincing words or hiding feelings, maybe I can move on. If I write it down, maybe I will get better clarity and help my daughter when it's the right time for her to understand me. If nothing else, maybe I can express in writing what I'm too ashamed to admit out loud. Maybe, I can get stronger for myself, those I love and those who love me. Just maybe it's worth a try.
