<p>I am a GIS Software Engineer and a former couch potato turned athlete. In 2012 I decided it was time to get off the couch and get serious about my health as I head toward my 40th birthday a year or two off. &nbsp;I began training to run a 5k in February and shortly after set a larger goal of doing my first triathlon in March of 2013. &nbsp;</p> <p>With months to go, I have now completed a few 5k running races and I am in the best shape of my life and things keep getting better every week.&nbsp;</p>
