Dave Goodman started working comedy clubs all over the country working with and learning from comics like Drew Carey, Jeff Foxworthy, Ellen DeGeneres and George Lopez. Dave quickly moved on to working in Las Vegas and eventually wound up living there on the 16th floor of the Maxim Hotel. It was Dave’s home for three years while he was headlining the showroom at night. With over 3,000 Las Vegas performances under his belt Dave moved on to performing on cruise ships sailing around the world. After years of waking up in a different port every day Dave put down roots in Southern California where he now makes his home with his wife, Ivy. Evening at the Improv, Comedy on the Road, One Hit Wonder and Showtime Comics Who Care are among the many television and movie appearances Dave made along his way. While having performed in Las Vegas at numerous casino showrooms Dave also made appearances in Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City. In 1993 Dave was asked to perform at the famous Sahara Country Club in Las Vegas for a bunch of guys at a golf tournament luncheon. After a quick half hour of laughs Dave was approached by a golfer who invited him back to his country club to perform for his membership. That show was the beginning of a long run for Dave that has seen him move across the country having performed at over 300 private clubs. Among the many opportunities afforded to Dave along the way was his invitation to perform for the American Eagle Foundation at a golf tournament hosted every year by Dina and Clint Eastwood. Dina Eastwood had arranged for Dave’s opening act to be the Grammy Award Winning artist Kenny G who is Clint Eastwood’s golf nemesis and good friend. Dave has also performed at Clint’s Tehama Golf Club on several occasions. In addition to having traveled millions of miles entertaining and making people laugh around the world Dave also performs for our troops stationed all over the globe. Dave has made numerous trips to the Pacific Rim, Hawaii and across the United States entertaining the military. Dave has performed on the hoods of tanks in mock battle fields, on chopper transports, at Officer’s clubs and the DMZ separating North and South Korea. Through those experiences Dave has gained great respect for the men and women of our military.
