I currently work as the Legislative Aide at the State of CT General Assembly, Founder/CEO of the Connecticut Pardon Team, Inc and formerly served six years as Alderwoman for the Norwich City Council. Since 2004, I have conducted a series of statewide informational forums to build community awareness of Connecticut’s pardon process. Each session teaches attendees how to have their records expunged after successfully completing probation. As a direct result of these workshops, to date, Thousands of applications have been received by the State Pardon Board. In 2006, due to the continued need and interest, I and others formed the Connecticut Pardon Team, Inc. and launched its website <a href="http://www.connecticutpardonteam.org">www.connecticutpardonteam.org</a> to provide further assistance to pardon applicants. We have made the Connecticut Pardon Team materials available to a wide variety of organizations so that even greater numbers or people will become aware of their right to clear their records and create a bright future.
