<p>Crusade is a nationwide re-enactment society, specialising in the 11th to 13th centuries, however our primary focus is the Crusades and the Crusading era. We portray the people, places, and professions of the cultures present in the Mediterranean in that time period.<br /> <br /> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">We are always looking for new members!</span></strong></p> <p>To join you will need:</p> <p>* 2 passport sized photographs</p> <p>&nbsp; - One for your membership book, one for our records</p> <p>* A membership form completed in full</p> <p>&nbsp; - These are available at most events we attend, and our recruitment stalls at ILHF, NLHF, and TORM</p> <p>&nbsp; - Alternatively you can email [email protected] for a PDF to be forwarded for printing</p> <p>* To pay a membership fee of £15, renewable annually at the Hastings event.</p> <p>&nbsp; - Under 16's may join for free</p> <p>&nbsp; - Under 18's are required to join with a parent or guardian</p> <p>&nbsp; - The membership fees cover your third-party insurance, and is compulsory</p> <p>&nbsp; - Cheques should be made out to "Crusade"</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Please send completed forms and payment to:</span></strong></p> <p>Crusade</p> <p>6 Craig Gardens</p> <p>Leicester</p> <p>LE3 6PD</p> <p>NB: We accept no liability for losses during postage, so please do not send cash through the post!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If you are an established group wishing to come under the banner of Crusade, or simply would like to know more please contact:</p> <p>[email protected]</p> <p>New members can be loaned kit on a show to show basis and most groups have equipment available for training purposes.</p> <p>We recommend that you consult one of our authenticity officers before purchasing anything to avoid disappointment.</p> <p>Groups often organise group food and camping for shows - speak to your local branch to enquire further.</p> <p><span>For experienced re-enactors, we also offer the opportunity to transfer over proficiency tests from select other societies on first joining – please contact us for further details of this process.<span id="_plain_text_marker">&nbsp;</span><br /></span></p>
