I am a working professional and I have a career in a field that I've passionately wanted to work in for over 20 year and in 2012 I finally made it! It's important to follow your dreams and never give up. I'm also an aspiring digital inspirational artist. Every day I get up and take steps to balance my life with what I want to do, what I need to do and what I'm dreaming about. I'm trying to balance all of this while taking steps to Living A Deliberate Life. I'm glad you are walking this journey with me. I’ve spent many years observing behaviors of people that I believe to be happy, successful, motivated, and inspiring. There are two common realizations that I keep coming back to. First and foremost, everyone has 24 hours in a day and how you choose to use your time, differentiates you. Secondly, there is no magic potion for happiness and goodness in your life. Happiness and goodness are the results of deliberate thoughts, choices, and actions you make on a daily basis. It’s your choice to embrace, display and share; light over darkness, love over hate, peace over conflict, happiness over sadness, and compassion over cruelty, tolerance over impatience and acceptance over rejection. Even knowing this, it took me many more years than I’d like to admit, to take these understandings and begin to put them into practice. It’s not easy. It’s a process, and some days are more successful than others, but each day I get up, I commit to myself that I will try again, and again until my new thoughts and actions are a natural part of who I am.
