My background is in Electrical Engineering but my primary focus is in embedded systems. As a consultant, I can most readily contribute to a project via schematic design, component selection, system architecture, system debugging, and application development. I've worked with many tools and chip vendors, as well as many relevant technologies including but not limited to: Low-power techniques, multiple RTOS kernels, Image-processing, Bluetooth Low Energy, boot techniques, build systems and CI techniques jenkins, travis, gitlab.

Oddly enough I am a deeply embedded Systems guy. I started out life programing 4040's now program Arm, Coldfire Linux and have programed just about everything in between including Linux Drivers and specialty kernels for embedded "appliances". On the way I have done a lot of assembler, C and PL/M. Mot/Zilog/Microchip/ARM/Intel did systems hardware and software for a 3 sq inch fully functional Linux Home Security TCP/IP Communicator with web server for Interlogix/Caddx. I finally got wise and since I am in Texas joined a Oilfield Services company that will not export my job to China! (Unlike the last two companies.)
