It has become an epidemic; artists are evolving and emerging all over the place and they continue to grow. The movement is crucial as the stamp on Miami continues to dry all across the city limits. It is without question that these talented artists have gone on for far too long without notice. These are the artists keeping Hip-Hop alive and afloat for now. One prolific artist reigning from the heart of Miami needs no introduction. His stage moniker is that of a hierarchy state of mind with the ability to express himself through lyrics on a very high level, ‘Excellence is his only way of making everything work.’E.O. is a young talented MC hailing from the inner city of Miami-Dade County, Carol City to be exact. He is ¼ of the super group, ‘The Southern Hustlas on the Grind, or The Shot Gs for short. E.O. has the ability to make you dance, smile, cry, or feel any other emotion humanly possibly with his slick wordplay and aggressive flow. With fellow group member Young Chap manning the boards, and supplying the beats, E.O. has put out critically acclaimed, as well as regionally successful hit after hit records. His hit song featuring fellow group member Beez, “My Baby Tonite,” was hand selected by the Microsoft and Reverbnation team to be included in Microsoft’s Playlist 7 marketing and promotion program for the nation’s hottest independent artists. Another hit, “Life of the Party,” has also gained region wide attention, with over 100 ringtone downloads on the very well known mobile website Myxer.com. To date E.O. has released two solo mixtapes (“Flight 305” Hosted by DJ Young Cee in October of 2009 and “Carol City Cheef Hosted by DJ Got Now in June of 2010), and one mixtape with his group (“Breakfast” in September of 2009).
