My name is Chris Cummings. All my life I've wanted to be one thing: A Super Hero. I wanted to live an adventure every day fighting evil, and being something of legend. It was hard coming to terms at the age of 26 that maybe I wouldn't be a crime fighter, but that didn't stop me from living an adventure every day. As an avid game player and story teller, I could live my adventures through games and books. I strove to find the perfect game or book to live my adventure through, but simply could never find the perfect one. So, I decided to create my own. I wrote my own books, living the dreams I wanted to live, fighting the battles I wanted to fight, and being the hero I always knew I was. I created games to bring out things in people, they might not know they had in them. I developed more games and wrote more stories, until I realized I had a business on my hands. I make games and write stories to live the adventures I want to live, and I hope to do that for other people who feel that way.

Resurrection (n) a rising again, as from decay, disuse, etc.; revival. Take one part 80’s Thrash, One part Early 90’s Death Metal, some pretty awesome hair, and you have a recipe for EXTORTION. Pulling from influences such as Municipal Waste, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Exodus, and yes, even Metallica, EXTORTION is resurrecting metal’s glory days in a time where the hardcore scene dominates. With their oldest member being only 17 years old, EXTORTION is a silent force taking over when you least expect it. But, don’t let their age fool you, this band of brothers know EXACTLY what they are doing. With songs like “WAR” and “VIOLATOR”, that are as educated as they are aggressive, “The Pit of Brotherhood”, which promotes unity amongst fellow metalheads, and the fan favorite, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, which wanders into the abstract genre of Humorcore. At an EXTORTION show, you often really don’t know if you want to dance, beat the crap out of the guy next to you, or play it safe and just headbang. They are entertaining, constantly ragging on each other and kids in the crowd. There is charisma exuding from each of the members; it’s obvious they love what they do. EXTORTION lacks the holier-than-thou attitude that often comes with being in a band. They just have fun and melt faces, which is what it should be all about: Bringing Back The Metal. EXTORTION is composed of Jay Delarosa on drums, Marsh on Bass and Vocals, Mikey Sassano on Lead Guitar and Vocals, and Landy Scates on Rhythm guitar.
