First ever tournament with the most amazing team ever (see scuffed collab ^). It was such a ride, so many close matches. Got kicked to LB in Semifinals, won against the same team in LBs GF in one of the probably closest matches in tournament history. Then won BR 7 - 5 and after that lost the final match 5 - 7 with just being 4k points shy of tb (the final spinner decided). Placed 2nd. Not bad considering this was the first ever tournament for everyone from our team Oh no. We we're supposed to play in the same team as we did in CC1, but due to circumstances supreme water wasn't able to play with us. This sucked especially bc Hwang and me are useless at hd, low-ar, gimmick, low-ar and acc, something supreme water was perfect at and what made our team so well rounded in CC1. Anyways, knowing that, we searched for someone who could replace her and found Shiqny (https://osu.ppy.sh/users/12807004) and he almost seemed like a perfect match for our team... until he got screened out for multiaccounting .-. (It was supposed to be a badged tournament, but then wasn't for unknown reasons). So anyways, with regs already ended that left me and HwangOnWheels alone. The only thing we had was speed and also kinda hr. There was only one team who could compare to us on speed and that team was unko. 3 champion taiko players (im not even kidding, 3 digits in taiko and multiple badges each) matched up against us in ro32 and they stomped us 5-0. Managed to win 2 more match in lb and then got kicked out in quarterfinals. Considering our severe handicap (HD and thus FM was basically a guaranteed loss), having made it that far out of 89 registered teams doesn't seem too bad. I made the 6th part. Definitely not really good, although it was my first time actually getting something finished (Although the part was only like 30 seconds or so). Was my first time participating in a Collab first actual map I finished completely. Now I feel like I have to move on. I will give myself a month to reevaluate my decision, but if I wont come back by then, I probably never will. This was not an easy decision and I still love this game and the community, but I feel like for my future I will need to reinvest my time into something more productive.
