Founded in 2002 in Cluj-Napoca, Guerrillas is without a doubt one of the most important representatives of the hardcore-metal movement in Romania, having an impressive history of concerts, both home and abroad. In 2004, Guerrillas launched their first demo, "First Strike". The following period marked a series of performances at festivals and in various cities of Romania. The band had its first concert abroad in 2006 at Hunderground FESZT, Hungary. Guerrillas proudly 'opened' for Sepultura, Born From Pain, Blind Myself and Ektomorf. "Guerrilla Spirit", the first album, was released in 2008. This was followed by the "Guerrilla Spirit Tour" (headliner) and the "Allied Force Tour" (w/ SuperButt) in Romania and Hungary. In 2009, the "First European Tour" covered Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany, and the "Balkan Assault Tour" covered Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia. The "Full Force" music video was also launched in 2009. In 2010 and 2011 Guerrillas attended club concerts and music festivals in Romania and Europe (Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, Germany and the Netherlands). Collaborations: Pro-Pain, Cadaveres, Superbutt, Insane, Born from Pain, First Blood, The Haunted, Cataract, Madball, Skindred, and others. In 2012, the band released the EP "Together Forever Stronger" and a video with the same title, followed by a series of promotional concerts in Romania, Hungary, and Germany. Between 2013 and 2014 the band has undergone several line-up changes. In 2015 Guerrillas began working on a new album with the new members. In October 2016 Guerrillas released a new LP called “The Fire Revolution”. Audio recordings, mixing and mastering were made by Sebastian Damian at Live Set Studio in Cluj-Napoca. Beside Commandante and Jenci, two young guitarist players: Blunt and Moga, were involved in compositional process and interpretation, the lyrics being made in an excellent collaboration with Mistah White. Special guests on this LP were Marius (Sincarnate) si Mistah White as vocals. Artwork was made by Fetyko Gabor. Singles from “The Fire Revolution” LP are “The Curse” and “Time to Rock'n'Roll”, first released as a video clip, the second as a lyric video. Until now the LP was promoted in more than 20 shows in Romania. In 2017 Guerrillas objective is the promotion of “The Fire Revolution” LP at international level.
