I am a health care professional who enjoys traveling and eating out. I have traveled somewhat but not enough for me: Europe, U.S., and Mexico, South America mostly. I have stayed at the Motel 6s of the world and many five star hotels both here and in Europe. I eat out frequently and have eaten at some of the top restaurants in the world, actually located right here in Chicago, IL. I am a history buff so enjoy going to Museums and historical places. I usually research prior to my travels the country or city that I will visit but have also enjoyed going on solo walks, getting lost, and trying to find my way back to my hotel. I usually do. Of course people are the most fun when visiting another land. Ireland by far has the most friendly. Paris did not live up to its reputation, actually found many Parisians very nice and helpful. The fun of travel is you meet people from all over the world, and somehow, despite language differences, are able to communicate.
