TÄTOWIERTER EINZELGÄNGER TRIFFT GUANO-APES-DRUMMER In Weissrussland traf Singer/Songwriter Raphael Krauss auf Schlagzeuger Dennis Poschwatta. Liebe auf den ersten Blick war‘s nicht – dennoch landete Krauss mit seinem LACSON-Bandkollegen Beat Diesel (Bass) in Poschwattas Studio. Statt die beiden nur zu produzieren, wurde Poschwatta von der Energie der beiden derartig angesteckt, dass er sich kurzerhand selbst ans Schlagzeug setzte. Durch ihn kam Godi Hildmann (Git) an Bord; damit war die neue Besetzung komplett – das erste Album wurde aufgenommen und am 21.02.2014 veröffentlicht. Die Radiosingle „Hold Me“ entstand übrigens nach einem Saufgelage: Als die Band wieder nüchtern war, wurde der sehnsüchtige Song bewusst auf Radioformat getrimmt – schließlich wollte man ja was werden. SCHULD WAREN DIE MEDIEN Die Reaktion der Medien auf diese Bemühungen? Ausser in der Schweiz, gleich null. Bestenfalls wurde behauptet, dass Krauss ein bisschen viel Coldplay höre. Als Coldplay-Hasser reagierte Krauss empfindlich auf diese Vermutung – und mit Trotz auf den Misserfolg: SCHULD WAREN DIE MEDIEN, keine Frage. Doch auf den Trotz folgte Einsicht. Fehlendes Medieninteresse hat nämlich Vorteile: Statt nur die Spitze der Charts vor Augen zu haben, wandte sich die Band wichtigeren Fragen zu. Allen voran: Warum, zur Hölle, waren wir damals zu feige für einen Song wie „Copy The Paisting“? Für Krauss war auch hier die Antwort klar: SCHULD WAR NUR DIE BAND! ZU VIELE KILOS, ZU VIELE FALTEN, ZU WENIG HAARE Nach dieser Erkenntnis haben LACSON frischen Mut geschöpft. Und ganz ehrlich: Abgesehen davon, dass Krauss und seine Crew für Standard-Superstars zu viele Kilos auf die Waage bringen, zu viele Falten im Gesicht und zu wenig Haare auf dem Kopf haben – es macht ihnen einfach mehr Spaß, das, was sie tun wollen, auch so zu tun, wie sie es wollen. Das Album „12345667DAYS“ wird nun weltweit als Special Edition re-released, plus der neuen Single „Copy The Paisting“ und 3 Unplugged-Songs, die zeigen, wie aus der schnell zusammengewürfelten Studiogruppe eine echte Band mit Leidenschaft und viel Luft nach oben geworden ist. SELLING FACTS? Gesammelte 65 Jahre Musikererfahrung: LACSON mögen als Band Newcomer sein, aber auf der Bühne und im Studio sind sie alte Hasen. Dennoch brennt in ihnen die Leidenschaft – und das hört man.

You've likely heard plenty of rumors about muscular women, and guess what? They might just be true! 😉

At the age of 16, Raphael Krauss was already touring France by train, armed only with this beat-up acoustic guitar and his unique, distinctive voice. Raphael signed a recording contract and the big breakthrough he had been dreaming of did not seem too far away. But then a significant setback – the sales of his album did not meet the expectations of his record company and he was dropped. Not to be deterred by this, Raphael bought a one-way ticket to New York City, USA, to present himself to a new audience. After countless shows and having gained a wealth of experience abroad, Raphael returned to his homeland Switzerland, determined to make it with his new singer/songwriter/alternative-rock band LACSON. Since then, LACSON have continued to tour at equal pace through USA, France, Germany, Austria, Israel, Lithuania, Spain and Switzerland. The sound of LACSON we hear today are the impressions of the streets and landscapes of countless tours. This sound represents the freedom which Raphael Krauss has found through music. He knows what he wants and what he does not know he needs to try. By that LACSON is dynamic, alive and free. Krauss finds support from his bandmates: Beat Diesel (bass), Dennis Poschwatta (drums) and Godi Hildmann (el-guitar). LACSON is live an explosive mix – honest and straightforward, with lots of soul.
