Rooted out Brooklyn, NY, MF Kush moved to the Northeast Bronx in the early 80's as a young child. Coming from a Jamaican mother and Panamanian father, MF quickly adapted to the Bronx's multi-cultural environment. Since then was he introduced to music; Reggae, Soul, Salsa, Merengue, not to long after he discovered Hip Hop. As a teen he began writing poetry. Throughout the years he has performed in various events doing Spoken Word; the most notable, The McDonalds gospelfest, where he finished as a semi-finalist. As time went on, his writing skills quickly advanced. Having a genuine love for music, MF began writing songs in the early 2000's and has also done a few hip hop showcases around the NYC area. MF Kush alongside his childhood friend Presha The One (producer) have collaborated and produced a total of four mixtapes. They are currently working on their fifth project which is entitled "Thanks For Nothing" and due to be released at the end of the summer. "MFoNYoFM (MF On Your FM) that's my campaign! I want the masses to hear me out, it's Moving Music and we won't ever stop being creative, why not share it? My music is not for me......" -- MFKush
