[b]Mobilization.com[b] is a San Francisco based studio/label/production company dedicated to promoting artists that "launch". Rooted in post-punk/art-punk, Mobilization.com is home to Los Angeles desert rock art-punk pioneers SAVAGE REPUBLIC, and SF Pyro-Noise mongers F-SPACE. Mobilization has also released titles by AUTUMNFAIR (Thom Fuhrmann of Savage Repubic, Val Haler of Lords of the New Church, Wayne County, ...), DEATH RIDE '69, and KOMMUNITY FK. Mobilization.com promotes the roughly annual "How to Destroy the Universe" festival, whose goal it so unite artists circling around the Post-Punk/proto-industrial worlds. Past "Destroy" artists have included SAVAGE REPUBLIC, F-SPACE, BLIXA BARGELD (Einsturzende Neubauten, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), THE LIVING JARBOE, SWANN DANGER, SIXTEENS, BLACK ICE, THE MERMEN, and many others. Mobilization.com also hosts free MP3 and video downloads of interviews with many post-punk and early punk pioneers, including the AVENGERS, EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN, THE MINUTEMEN, BLACK FLAG, CARLA BOZULICH plus extensive hours of interviews with THROBBING GRISTLE. Mobilization works closely with RE/Search Publication and co-published the hard cover re-issue of the "Industrial Culture Handbook", and also co-published the "DECODER DVD", a long lost cult movie from 1984 Berlin. Mobilization also has an online mail order catalog with includes titles from the now defunct Independent Project Records mail order service, and other related artists, such as the URINALS/100 FLOWERS and FOR AGAINST.

The Mobilization is a 5-piece band, hailing from the wheat capital of small town, USA. Where country music and domestic violence reign, the Mobilization have emerged with unique blends of synth powered, pop rock. Recorded and mastered at the local studio (3 blocks from the practice den), the group have recently released Mechanical Tiger. Greenjean Studio's sound engineer, Carter Green, captured the raw sound and pieced it together. Newest member, Chaney Kimball, who composes songs and feverishly manipulates the synths, helped the band turn the corner. It is hard to categorize the Mobilization's sound with a classic genre, and the band relys on unorthodox techniques for creating ideas and rhythms. It is difficult to pigeon-hole these guys. But this group of like-minded friends are starting to make ripples. They have captured the pulse of what the new sound should be. Mack has carried the band while switching from instrument to instrument, to accommodate the ever-changing needs. He is the band's glue. Creating, writing, and organizing the efforts. On bass, Danny has been with the band from inception. With mathematical precision, this guy keeps the steady on their dizzying pace. His cousin Lance has been a recent addition. Through sheer agility and an assortment of pedals, he always keep you guessing. Rounding out the lineup is Bill on the microphone. A confident front man, who prides himself in improvisation and spontaneity, he is 'hit more than miss' live and fuels the band's energy. And that is why he works so well. Now with the lineup firmly set, the boys look to expand their touring schedule and taste the flavors of different locals, digging their trail in the Middle American music scene.
