I have a lot of things going on in my head that I would never speak to actual people about. If I could remains here, unidentified, posting all my thoughts in writing, I hope there are those on this site who will understand me and appreciate my works. Kudos to you all with retarded minds like me. Oh, and I really like Orlando Bloom. Not just because he's hot (he's a goddamn sex bomb and that's not hard to see) but because I understand him, and love him, and respect him. He makes me laugh and cry and I just wish he could be happy again. I want a husband with the qualities he has. So a lot of the things I write might just be me trying to delve into his life and translate what I think he might be feeling. You don't have to be in the fandom to be on this level of comprehension.

Oblivious is a visual experiment, a collaboration born in Palermo between Ignazio Mortellaro and Rosanna Costantino. United by their common interest in video and photography their practise is informed both by their academic training in Architecture and Engineering and by their professional experience of architectural practise, as well as urban analysis and design. Their work explores the dynamics between people and the use of space, and the interaction of natural and fabricated environments. The medium of video acts as a tool for investigating the perception of images, invoking moods that range from the surreal to the objective. Technology is kept to a minimum and technical restriction is imposed in order to release creativity. The members of Oblivious take influence from early C20th experimental cinema where utterly iconic imagery was created despite huge technological constraints. Each Oblivious VJ set or AV performance involves the use of original material and forms an ongoing research into human anatomy and landscapes. In 2010 Oblivious became Oblivious Artefacts, a collective of artist between Palermo, Rome and Berlin. The project now involves other artists, designers and practitioners working around the three cities, including the sculptor and visual artist Marco Morici and the designer and graphic artist Glauco Marino. Oblivious Artefacts have also worked with outstanding underground labels, including Prologue. 2010 sees Oblivious join the Stroboscopic Artefacts family, a Berlin based techno label where they are the resident graphic designers; realising the entire design concepts from 12” artwork to video teasers to VJ sets.

Me? Well, I am an engineer, a student, an artist and a soldier, at least sooner or later. I enjoy anime when I am not engaged in my righteous crusade to drink cheap coffee while reading badly written flash tutorials in random cafes, or gaming my fucking brains out. I read mostly nonfiction including various engineering manuals, complex mathematics, philosophy and a bit of history though I will be sad the inevitable day Terry Pratchett finally kicks it. Granted that will be ironically amusing in its own way, undoubtedly. I also love my ass cooler, which is a pillow containing some sort of superconducting fluid that I use to alleviate the numbness of my genitalia when I sit in front of the computer for prolonged periods. Not being able to feel your penis is rather inconvenient sometimes. I have rather simple taste in anime, which you may find distasteful provided that you do not already consider yourself distasteful enough to still be reading About Me. As long as it keeps me thinking I will not give anything a failing grade. I enjoy most any genre, and love considering interesting scenarios like Azumanga meets Red Garden. The One Thing that gives me pause is cheapness. Anime can be outright bad, but that is fine with me if at least that means that the creators have tried to portray something. If it is cheap it means they have given up on even themselves and have chosen to become a mere cog. I cannot respect something that does not respect itself; it is not my place.
