From St.Louis, MO. July 3rd, 1991 a star was born Christopher Charles Smith, better known as "Sizzle." As an early bloomer for a feel for music, he began writing his own lyrics at the age of 6 with the help of his cousin "Sean Owens" aka LooneyToon. Being a beginner, of course it got off to a rough start because though he was musically inclined at an early age, he'd also had a passion for dancing. Indecisive between the both he figured he could do nothing less but to participate in both activities. Within a 6 year time span at the age of 12, he began to take the "Rap" a little more serious. In middle school he formed a group called "Heat Squad" with peers known as "Jordan Ware" aka J-Ware, "Mark Wright" aka Yay Da Boss, & his cousin "Chris Mems" aka Merk. Certain Members weren't putting in a mutual amount of work as others at times so the group did not last as long as planned. Merk fell off, which resulted in just being 3 members of the group (Sizzle, Yay, J-ware). They agreed to change the name of the group to "GGB" in which stands for "Go Gettem Boyz." They released 2 mixtapes "STL Massacre Vol.1" & "STL Massacre Vol.2" both having regular & chopped & screwed versions of both projects. In the mist of constantly working on mixtapes,they began to branch out and collaborate with other local artist in & out of town. GGB lasted for about 2 years strong, not being on the same page at all times hindered them to continue as a group. When everyone seperated, eventually everyone started doing they're own thing. "Sizzle" continued to make mixtapes on his own and record where ever he could. He continued on his own for another couple years and at age 16 he was signed to his big cousin's indie record label "Y.A.K.ent" (You Awready Know ent) along with his cousin "Merk" and they re-united to form a group called "DemYungStarz." Being signed to this label "Sizzle" felt was a good move simply because he started to begin performing at clubs, venues, parties, etc... He figured he would get the spotlight he wanted and also broaden his fanbase. It did just that, and before he knew it he had a school anthem with high school peers "Dylan Nunnery" aka D-Lou & "Chris Mems" aka Merk. D-Lou was under the Y.A.K..ent label as well. Further down the road "DemYungStarz" & "D-Lou" were featured on "D-nell" (Ceo Of Yakent) song "I Luv My Hataz" along with Battle Rapper "Aye Verb," and now SoSoDef recording artist "Fresko Kane" back then known as "Gena." Within the 3 years of being with "Yak ent," D-nell released an album and "DemYungStarz" released one mixtape. Sizzle & Merk broke up as a group once again and left the Yak ent label, as well as D-Lou. By this time Sizzle & merk where 19 and D-Lou 18. All being solo artist, Sizzle, Lou< and Merk began to hop on board with their Friend Yay and rep his label he'd put together known as "PoundStar." In this time period, Sizzle released 3 different mixtapes. "Heatwave: 1st Degree," "Heatwave: 2nd Degree," & "Heatwave: 3rd Degree" (Double Disc) Minus the fallback from doing shows, Sizzle still managed to keep up his following/listeners who anticipated his music. Now at the age of 23, Sizzle has got back in touch with D-Lou, and they are now signed to another indie record label "HustlinHardRecords," ran by Sizzle's other big cousin "L.T. Johnson." Sizzle as a solo artist along with other solo artists "Mike G," "D-Lou," & "L.T." have came together as a family and on the way to doing big things. Sizzle now has his own movement "BraveHeartGang" and has did shows in and out of town constantly, has been on tour with Caskey from YMCMB, and also has done songs with "Lil St.Louis," "Hitman Holla," "YakBoyFresh," & more... Sizzle at the age of 23 is now under "HustlinHardRecords" and has completed a joint album along with CEO "LT" entitled "BeastKingz," date not yet released. Now that, that project is finished, Sizzle is continuing to do features and work on his solo album & mixtape. The Album entitled "07/03/1991" and will be released on 07/03/2015.
