Creative Director | Educator | Quilling Artist My journey into the world of art and design began in 1985, inspired by Akilan's Jnanpith Award-winning novel Chithirappaavai. This passion led me to pursue Fine Arts at JNTU College of Fine Arts, specializing in Applied Arts. While studying, I honed my visualizing and design skills as a part-time Finishing Artist at a local advertising agency, gaining hands-on experience in the industry. Eager to expand my horizons, I interned in Bombay, securing a trainee position at R K Swamy BBDO. This immersive experience across various departments deepened my understanding of advertising and set the stage for my career. Post-BFA, I successfully launched the Midnight Cowboy premium condom campaign, landing a full-time Visualiser role in a leading agency. Advertising & Design Leadership As a Creative/Art Director, I've built a diverse portfolio spanning corporate, retail, education, healthcare, and more, delivering impactful visual communication and design solutions. Recognized with ADEX awards, I’ve mastered advertising, KYC, KSM, strategic thinking, and management, effectively leading teams and optimizing work processes. Today, I continue my creative journey as a freelancer at Pulse Advertising Design Studio (PADS). Quilling & Education The 2020 pandemic led me to an unexpected yet fulfilling artistic pursuit—Quilling. A simple experiment with quilling on an eggshell turned into an obsession, driving me to create intricate paper art and share my passion with the world. This dedication led me to become a Quilling Art Professor at D Y Patil International University, mentoring first-year Bachelor of Design students. Beyond Quilling, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a visiting faculty and external jury member at DY Patil International University, Banasthali Vidyapith, and Woxsen University.
