Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, DatBoiDrumma a.k.a Prep's love for music started early in childhood. Looking up to an older cousin "Ray", he quickly began making beats and lyrics...making him known now as one of Mississippi's top producers and artists. Going through many transitions of groups and record labels groomed PREP to become one of Mississippi’s most sought after producers /engineers/artist in the music industry. Drumma is also a writer, artist, and CEO of TraXtar Records, LLC, Beat 2 Sleep Productions, and Step’d Out Prep’d Out Entertainment. TraXtar released its first album, which was a compilation entitled, DA LIFE, DA LUV, DA LUXURY, in 2005. This well diversed project included artist signed to the label and a host of others, including YOUNG BLEED of Body Head Ent & Kamikaze from Crooked Lettaz. He also produced the Mississippi Artists and Producers (M.A.P.) Coalition CD Volume 2, which included artists from the Mississippi area. He is recognized for production on numerous upcoming artist projects from the South, and is also the TRUE PRODUCER of Jamie Foxx's Hit Single "UNPREDICTABLE"! He has worked with artist such as Ray J., David Banner, Lazy Bone, Young Bleed, Jazze Pha, Bushwick Bill of Da Ghetto Boyz, Lil Boosie, the late Pimp C.....and the list goes on! Right now..On the streets is his HOT ASS MIXTAPE "A PLAYER'S PRESTIGE" It includes singles off the upcoming album, plus a host of other Blazin tracks! Also on the streets is PREPS’ most recent mixtape entitled “G.S. RESERVED”, which also includes track from the upcoming album! PREP also proves to the major industry that he is THE TRUTH by blazing major artist tracks like remixes that should have been the originals!!!!!
