Joseph Puente is the Founder & Administrator of The Utah Filmmakers Association, Executive Producer for Section One Entertainment and the proprietor of Puente Media. He has had a lifelong interest in film, television, current events and community action. Born in Los Angeles, California and residing in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Puente served in the United States Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Collection (CTR). During that time he was stationed in Panama and along the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. Mr. Puente is a writer of essays, novels, screenplays, news articles and editorials.
