I am watercolor and digital illustration artist and Web developer. I specialise in character design and children book illustrations.

Realised is solo music act founded in November 2010. I write all the songs and play the guitars, vocals, bass and keyboards on all the tracks, except were otherwise stated. Every track is recording at home, in my bedroom, inside a tent I made from a bed sheet and two sticks. “Why?” Because one of the main objectives of this project is to write, record and produce at least one new track every week (or 2 at the most). Every one of which will be made available to download for free here: http://soundcloud.com/realisedmusic, as soon as it’s produced. Home-recording makes this possible, because a studio would be way too expensive to visit every week, and probably slow the process down too. But it also has its obvious draw-backs, in that the quality of the production suffers from both the facts that I’m recording using cheaper equipment and that they’re produced by me, in a slightly rushed fashion sometimes. Sorry... Whilst it is a solo act now, I hope to make collaboration with friends, family, and fellow musicians a regular occurrence on new songs. Realised isn’t supposed to sound like any one thing, and that’s the way I like it. A Realised song should only be defined by the fact that it’s recorded by the same person/people under the same banner. Anyway, have a listen to tracks, and download them if you like them. You can also sign up to the Realised mailing list by emailing your name to [email protected], and you’ll be directly emailed every song for free before they’re even posted online for download. And you’ll also get bonus tracks that won’t be posted online, such as cover songs, for obvious reasons. John.
