The band was founded in September 2007 by bassist Carlo Alfonso Pelino, supported by drummer Filippo Tirabassi and guitarist Daniele Presutti, with the name Holy Terror. The lineup was completed when Nikolas De Stephanis joined the band as second guitarist, in the early months of 2008. The band later changed its name in "Resumed" because of homonimy. After 2 years of live activity, on December 29, 2009, the self-produced demo cd "Human Troubles" was released. In 2010, the band suffered a slowdown; in the following year, the activity was restored, mainly for live events, thus making Resumed very well known in the local musical scene. In January 2012, while the guys were getting ready to record their first full-length album, Nikolas decided to leave the band. The record production and the live activity were carried on with a reduced lineup. On August 12, 2013 Resumed announced that their debut album, "Alienations", was ready. On August 30, 2013 the band's lineup finally returned to be complete, but underwent a variation: Carlo became the second guitarist and Giulia Pallozzi joined as bassist.
