In summer 2005 a destiny was born out of a mood, sensations, spherical sounds all around Markus and his longtime friend Alex: Separation. At that time there was no clearly defined line, no music orientations, just an idea of a medium to express feelings in a cold world, a world we’re living in sometimes. Only one thing was clear: It has to be METAL. So Markus and Alex started songwriting to gain some power to tame the beast of the good old Rock spirit and put it into their instruments. It was a hard way and it took them a long time to convert their thoughts into melodies…anthems…shockwaves and lyrics, a poetic devotement to the black winter nights after a few, short, sunny days… and the music came…as Jochen did. After some time a good friend joined them to be another brick in the wall between light and shadow, playing his fast rhythm guitars. In December 2006, a 15 years old Tasmanian devil out of the widths of the Tullnerfeld decided to sell his soul to Separation. With Matthias behind the drums the band was complete. Well, it seemed so… But as the 18 years old Manuel from Tulln convinced Separation of his talent and his feeling for music, they got “even completer”. Fast Riffs, melodic ravishments to a place in the dark where you can hide and wait for the light to come, a beat, significant and diversified and the voice to “shout the fuck out” and touch our souls at the same time, is exactly what you’re experiencing while hearing Separations songs. Jochen leaved the band again and so it's Markus time to play the guitar again. In Winter 2009 Alex have to leave the band. After so many years with him, we were shocked about his leave. Thank you for all the nice and funny time! We'll never forget you! Separation found a very great and technical perfect new Bass-man who is called Erik. Now he is fully integraded and ready to play many many gigs (: Our first CD will be released on 17th of April 2010. Also a musicvideo is coming soon. Now it’s up to play shows and give you some information about the next bigger changes. It has just begun… …and with your support, it’ll never end…
