Known as Silk & Katiepult. I've written Xena, Nikki & Nora femslash and even started writing an X-Men fanfic staring Emma Frost. I love reading and sometimes writing fanfic, the longer the better although there are some fics out there that are FAR TOO LONG. I pretty much detest anything under 1k. Twilight *shutup.. I like Alice/Bella* Marvel - Agent Carter *Angie/Peggy*, Agents of Shield *depends but always femslash*, Avenger movies *usually Natasha/Maria but I like some Pepper Potts/Femslash. We need more female characters in the movies* Harry Potter *yeah I know but I like it* XMen - *Emma Frost duh. Also Jean Grey. And while I've had a crush on Ororo since the 80's, I haven't found much, if any, good Storm femslash* Bioware games (ie... Mass Effect & Dragonage series) - Shepard/Liara, some Miranda/Jack, almost anyone female and Aria especially Tevos/Aria. BtVS - Willow/Tara without a doubt. In fact, I still faithfully read the Hacker series - although College Confidential IS one of those "omg it's never gonna end fics" Nikki & Nora - I'm still upset season 2 didn't get off the ground Once Upon a Time - Emma/Regina but I've lost interest due to the overwhelming stupidity of the fandom itself. Thankfully there are some great pieces out there to make up for the morons. ST:V, Stargate SG1, Legend of the Seeker, L&O SVU (the Alex years). What I find strange is that most tv series & movies with actual lesbian content (ie... Lost Girl) never seem to have much fanfic written about them. I think women prefer subtext over maintext. We live off of fantasy. The Glee fandom being an obvious exception (and no I'm not getting into that conversation).

Heyyo I'm a Theatre Electrician and find I have plenty of time for reading. I've found a niche in fantasy so if that's yer tastes, sail into my port, pull up a chair in the local tavern and have a gander at the library of worlds that have turned my fancy a few times or two.

Of course I played board games in my childhood. In High School we played Settlers of Catan, but I really discovered gaming as a hobby in 2004. Today, I am the guy with the games. That's how I get introduced to new people. They are no extreme gamers and most of them even don't know about bgg ("[i]Great you prepared those rule sheets![/i]"). I try to guide them here, but none of them are registered. Gaming is an important but not my only hobby. I try to keep the balance between gaming and canoeing (canoe polo and white-water), work, and, of course, my family (1 wife, 1 daughter, 1 son). This year, I want to plan gaming events more than before.
