The Raleigh North Carolina rap musician Omega 6 (Patrick R Marrow) is one of the hardest working hip hop artists in rap music and is now becoming noticeable for his God Giving Talent. He was born in Raleigh NC on July 22 1981 and wrote is first rap song at the age of 8 years old. At the age of 10 he moved to the suburbs on the outside of Raleigh to a small city known as Warrenton NC. It was here, when his creativity in music fully blossomed. After high school graduation, Patrick joined the United States Navy, and he was introduce to many rap styles being that he worked with people from all over the USA. In an interview Patrick stated “One of the nastiest lyricists I heard was from Alaska. To me that was a shock because I didn’t know they got down like that up there.” Patrick took this and used it to his advantage. He learned how to deliver every rap style that he was exposed to, from the dirty south flow to the east coast hip hop flow and even a little mid west. It was during this time when he met one of his best friends who later became Patrick’s mentor Brandon Foster. It enhanced Patrick’s skills even more by making him think outside the box and not sound like everyone else. It was because of Brandon, that Patrick conjured up enough courage to start rapping in public, and joining hip hop ciphers. To this day, Patrick still sends him his new songs and asks for critique. One of the biggest cons of being in the military, Patrick was never stable enough to get his buzz going like he wanted to. Every time his music would hit the streets and he was starting to get noticed, he had to move to another duty station. Now the world must prepare themselves because now Patrick is home for good, and he will not rest until his voice is heard.
