This all spawns from being a person who is endlessly fascinated by the Letterboxd stats page. I'm making this separate account to challenge myself to watch movies I've never seen before and maybe even some I've never heard of before. The starting phase will be me choosing the highest-rated film from the decade spanning from the 1920s to the 2010s that I have yet to see (that I can find on a streaming service or in my physical collection). These are the films that I will be starting with: 1920s: The Passion of Joan of Arc 1930s: It Happened One Night 1940s: 1950s: 1960s: 1970s: 1980s: 1990s: 2000s: 2010s: After these ten, hopefully, I'll have enough data registered to continue as planned. If there is not enough data, I will go through each decade again, picking ten more highly rated films I have not seen. This cycle will continue until there is enough data to meet my needs. After the cycle ends I will then go through and pick out a cast or crew member that appeared more than once on within my cycle and watch another film they are credited in. For example, if I end up watching two films with cinematography done by Bill Pope, I will then watch another film he shot and continue to build my stats page out. Along with that, my reviews will be detailed around the cast or crew member that caused me to watch each individual film, hopefully giving me more of a reason to focus on the elements of movies I don't often pay attention to. I will go through cycles from top to bottom, starting with actors and ending with hairstylists. I will skip areas that weren't filled in at the start of each cycle and reassess who to include and the end of the cycle. Eventually, after all the crew has been fully fleshed out, I will switch from the "most watched" section to the "highest rated section" to try and come to the ultimate conclusion of who are my favorite filmmakers. This is all supposed to be fun and in the spirit of finding hidden gems in the world of film. I hope you tag along on this journey with me :)

I used to be heavily into Rocket league before it turned into trash. Now I prefer MMORPGs and VR titles :)
