In hip hop, an MC's swagger is just as appealing as his lyrics. When sitting down with Trig, one discovers that the young Chicago area product possesses both attributes. "He aint better than me" is one of Trig's favorite quotes when evaluating other rappers. But bravado aside, Trig backs up his brash talk. A skilled MC, Trig has caught the attention of Chicago and Minnesota area listeners. The "Talk Is Cheap" mixtape and "Make an Offer" album was very well received by the public, and rivaled sales of more established area mixtape artists. But Trig's long term plans involve more than being just an artists. Years ago, At only 17 years old, he and family members established an independent label titled "Kerizma Entertainment," also known as WHODAT. Within this label, are several young, talented, and hungry MC's, each possessing their own unique style. Trig,is on his way to being an established artists on the label. Newcoming artist such as Majesti and Young Gunna and Chicago artist Stylez, and RIO are expected to make an immediate impact on the mixtape circuit. In addition to artists development, Trig also plans to release a clothing line and a Men’s and Women’s fragrances in the near future. "See, its all about getting this paper, fam" said Trig in a recent interview. "If you aint about that paper, I can't fucks with you, for real for real. I'm trying to stack a couple mill before I can have a legal drink (a reference to his own youth)." With this type of focus and drive, Trig is sure to leave a lasting impression on the game.
