Justin Mulfati - Writer and Director  Justin Mulfati is making his directorial debut with the film, “The World’s A Stage.” Previously he worked on the documentary short “Bernie’s World,” another portrait with a Montreal flavour. Justin is a graduate of communications studies at Concordia University, capping off a lifelong interest in all sorts of media. He has an aptitude for writing and has professional training in marketing and advertising.  Laura Ashley Polisena- Producer/Writer  Laura has been working in film for seven years. She began working as an assistant to casting directors. She soon after moved on to producing short films. Her first two short films “Love Hurts” and “Her Name was Jenny” both premiered at the New York International Film Festival. “Her Name was Jenny” won for “Best Foreign Short” in 2015. She produced two more short films, “The Order of Things to Come” and “Flush”, both of which will be released in 2019. She co-wrote and produced a feature film called “Tuscan Leather” which is set to begin its festival run in late 2020.

Having held down the stage since 1993, Michael Couling decided to step away from live performance and into the studio for a much needed break from 14 years of loud as fuck P.A. systems overdriven to the maximum. During that time he shared the joy of music with his brothers in SAH, Calumet-Hecla, Casper and the 602 Band, Bernie Larsen of Cry on Cue, Eddie Riott and Amani Smith, just to name a few. T’was is his first foray into the solo world. He’s also in a new project called Direwood with brother Dead Thom and sister Emily Smashpiano. Influenced heavily by surrealism, cut-up technique and William S Burroughs, David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust. Occult teachings, spirit raising, found object art, found sound. Where technology meets the primate. The primate smashes and screams through said technology. The primate effects native rythem to defend itself against the forces of Babylon. THE REVOLT AGAINST THE SYSTEM IS AN INDIVIDUAL EFFORT. These are my heart songs, an attempt to musically photograph a single un-repeatable audio visual scrapbook. Musicians filter through and help to shape my ever evolving sound. Twisted logic and cold medicine, Frank Zappa and Mr Bungle, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids Junkyard Jams and repeated viewings of "The Big Lebowski," had an effect as well. It is a recording project for now, though shows may happen sometime in the future. It’s all gone on the cheap tip, with a five dollar mic, but it’s geared for headphone listening. There is currently two full albums up here,"Resurection of Little Mike" and "ANT". I'm working on a new one right now, still untitled.
