Pleasant and peaceful anime are wonderful. === Favorite anime types: (1) Pleasant and peaceful anime with simple themes and a "nice" overall feel. (Kobato, Aria Series, Kamichu, Hidamari, Kokoro Toshokan, Manabi Straight) (2) Shoujo(-esque) anime in which the characters are wonderful, their relationships are great, and there's no such thing as fanservice. (Saiunkoku Monogatari, Kimi ni Todoke, Special A, Maria-sama ga Miteru, Earl and Fairy) (3) Anime with detailed characters, interesting themes, and real consequences for choices. (Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, Monster, Onii-sama e, Evangelion, Ef ~ Tale of Melodies, Steins;Gate, Madoka) I mostly watch types 1 and 2. --- Quick guide to my (subjective) ratings: [3-4] Sat through [5-6] Pretty good. It may have been a bit bland, and/or there may have been annoyances, and/or it just wasn't quite to my taste, and/or it didn't go as I would've liked, etc. Still enjoyed it. ---------------a dividing line--------------- [7] /Completely/ good. (Or: would have been 8 aside from a couple factors.) [8] Completely good, but also special, stands out for some great reason(s). [9-10] I'll know it when I see it. --- Misc Unforgettable Tracks (incomplete for now, ordered ultra-subjectively) o Seizensetsu (Umineko PC) (with context) o Gorgeous 4U (Special A) (oh the nostalgia) o Moon Filled Sky (Tale of Melodies) o Dango Daikazoku full ver (Clannad) (and its other versions, and its medley) o Tori no Uta (Air) o Egao Circle (Hidamari Sketch) o Taiyou no GO!! (Hidamari Sketch) (wonderful; quite Miyako) o My Soul, Your Beats (Angel Beats) o Strawberry Panic OST (a great soundtrack, one of the best-used, I think, in an anime) o Lost my Pieces (Toradora) o Stories (Code Geass) o Future (Kiddy Grade) o Canta per Me (Noir) (had a pretty good soundtrack) (those Kajiuritalian Lyrics though...) o Sis Puella Magi (Madoka) o Koiiro SHOOTING (Hidamari) (earworms...) o Katayoku no Tori (Umineko) o Kousei (Saki) (it plays at just the right moments.) --- Low characters:episodes ratio: LogH, 110 episodes with about 5-8 main characters; Onii-sama e, 39 episodes with about 4 main characters; Monster, 70 episodes with about 3 (arguably fewer) main characters; Hidamari Sketch, 26 episodes with 4 characters and then 26 episodes with 6 characters; well, even Desu Note I suppose, 37 episodes and 2 main characters, although overall it's less character-exploring than LogH or Onii-sama e. --- Misc fact: In celebration of the fourth season of Hidamari Sketch coming out, I watched the first seasons 3 more times each. (Hmm, should've bought the BDs.) Now I've watched each season of Hidamari Sketch (except Honeycomb) five times, and each season of Marimite twice. They keep getting better, and you really get to know the characters. It's wonderful~ Misc note: Special A might be a 9 for me, want to re-watch it. (And watch one or two other shoujo rom-coms...) Favorite Characters: Append Yang Wenli (LogH) and Kusheida Minori (Toradora) I watched Natsume Yuujinchou too quickly...

We are an eclectic alternative/rock band playing only your favorite covers. You know, all the super cool ones. VCR came together as a full band in the summer of 2011. After many months of practice we are ready to share our talents with our local peeps. Our lead vocalist, Oliver Bedwell offers a unique style of singing that covers the originals, but with his own spin. Kevin Hoffman is on rythym/lead guitar and also provides back up vocals. Tom Bradley is our other rhythym/lead guitarist who, with Kevin, provide the necessary sonic attack. At the heart of the band is Brad Bush (aka Pops) on the drums and Ryan Crooks on bass. We offer all your favorite covers with a look into the past. Some of our favorites are: Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chile Peppers, STP, Nirvana and so many others...
