Vindictive A.K.A Druny nacióen Las Palmas un 4 de enero de 1986, y hasta la fecha vive en la capital de España: Madrid. Comenzó a gustarle la música desde muy joven y desde entonces no ha dejado de interesarse por ella. Hace escasos años descubrió por primera vez el arte de pinchar discos, concretamente en el 2004 cuando hizo sus primeras sesiones frente a un ordenador. Sus prácticas son escasas por falta de un buen equipo aunque no deja de esforzarse con cada sesión que hace con el ordenador. The Dark Session, así se denominan sus sets cargados de ritmos oscuros como el tech house, minimal y techno. Próximamente lo veremos pinchando en alguna disco, mientras tanto sigue a la espera de que algún dia un Dj le apadrine y pueda ayudarle a incrementar su arte. Music has always played a large role in the life of Vindictive. It all began as a child with creative writing, poetry, and a natural talent for playing various instruments. As he grew older, hip-hop was the most influential genre that came to him. It consumed his life as he became hip-hop. No matter where V resided, (be it native-american reservations, various urban areas such as Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, and Mt. Pleasant, and even smaller areas in Northern Michigan) music has always been a large part of the local culture and his way of communication and release. Armed with an ear for a large variety of musical genres, a plethora of life experiences, and a continuously growing vocabulary mixed with an innate story telling capability, V has and continues to evolve with each musical/lyrical project he encounters. Over time he has gained his lyrical credibility through freestyles and spoken word poetry in multiple correctional facilities, improvs with various locals on the streets, open mic nights at various clubs/ bars, and live performances with the artists of Ill Vision Records in a multitude of venues. When you listen to the honesty and conviction in his voice, it is plain to see that V has a story to tell and has no intentions of stopping any time soon. Even when his masterpiece unfolds and his life's story is told 'up to date', he plans to continue his endeavors by identifying his current life, mental and emotional standpoints, and relating his current beliefs with those around him through his music. After recently serving a sentence for the State of Michigan, he has reclaimed his place on the microphone and continues to prove he is a lyrical force to be reckoned with and that he has no plans of stopping or going anywhere…
