The last years were great and I loved suprising my Santees with gifts (but also being suprised and eagerly awaiting my gifts from Santa)! I'm really open for taunting or any kind of messages from you, but don't feel like you need to write me, it's perfectly fine to be a quiet Santa. :) I'm 30 years old and live in Switzerland. I got my master's degree in psychology and I'm currently working on my PhD. I also love to photograph and draw and try to find more time for these two hobbies but end up neglecting it way too often. Additionally, I'm an avid reader and book hoarder and buy way too many books just because of their beautiful cover artwork. One big thing a group of friends and I achieved this year, was to win the "Escape Room Championship" in Switzerland which we are very proud of! As you can see, we not only love to play board games but also all kinds of puzzles and especially enjoy spending our time in Escape Rooms recently! In my teenage years I spent a lot of time in World of Warcraft (for the Horde!) with my boyfriend and I still love to play a variety of video games. So you might occasionally find me in games like League of Legends, any Blizzard game, currently Among Us and a lot of single player games I enjoy. At the moment I have a pretty stable board gaming group with some of my friends. Most of the time we're four people or more. It depends a bit on what game we plan to play. We really enjoyed the Pandemic Legacy Season 1 campaign, and are almost done with the second season with the third preordered. Another game we love to play is T.I.M.E Stories, but we also play a bunch of others. Most of the games we play are cooperative but not all of them, sometimes it's quite nice to battle it out. Another game that is really popular in our group at the moment is Mystic Vale. I tried to update my owned collection and hope I didn't forget anything. I also prepared my wishlist with comments and ratings for all games, I hope it helps you and gives you an idea of what my group and I like. :) Sometimes I commented the wishlist with English or German, that's mostly because I've already got the base game in this language and would like to get the expansions in the same language. One example where this is the case is Mystic Vale for which I'm trying to get the expansions in English. The other reason is if promos for the game are only available in that language. When I didn't write a language in the comment section it doesn't really matter if the game is in English or German. Everyone in my regular gaming group understands English quite well, so we play both German and English versions of games regularly (actually most of my game collection is in English, because I often ordered from Kickstarter before I had to stop myself). As I already mentioned, my gaming group prefers to play cooperatively (semi co-ops are great too), so I've got a lot of co-op games on my wishlist. But we play competitive games too (just not as often), so it doesn't have to be a co-op game. Other types of games we/I enjoy: Atmospheric games with a strong theme (It's just great when you get sucked into the world of a game, that's what I love about video games too and why I played so much World of Warcraft. There are a lot of different themes I enjoy like fantasy, sci-fi, horror, time travelling, zombies, mystery, steampunk, magic, dystopian themes and so on. I'm really open about themes as long as the theme is implemented well into the game.) Some other favorites: deck building, bluffing, push your luck and deduction games, but we also play games with other mechanics, that's just what came to my mind first. There are not many games on my wishlist that are two player only. I normally don't buy two player only games, because my boyfriend is a video gamer and even though I tried to convince him, he isn't interested in board games (most of the time... very rarely I get him to play and even enjoy himself). I still put the games on my wishlist, because I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy it, but would probably not play them very much (because of this they're usually lower rated). Santa, I'm sure that I'll enjoy whatever you send me and I'll cherish the game(s). I hope you'll have fun participating in this Secret Santa. All items that are sent from anywhere in the World under 62 Swiss Francs (CHF) are exempt from tax and VAT. That's around $60 dollars or 57 Euros at the moment. Shipping costs count towards the 62 CHF threshold so for bigger/more expensive board games I need to pay taxes and that can be really expensive. If the shipping cost isn't stated on the package, they will just estimate the shipping cost and add it to the worth of the goods.
