<p>Jeff Corwin was born on July 11th of 1967. He is a conservationist, wildlife biologist and a television show host. He helped establish the Emerald Canopy Rainforest Foundation after he visited Belize in 1984 (he was 17). He discovered his love for animals when he went to Belize, it made him realize that he wanted to save the natural beauty of the world. Jeff Corwin followed his passion for animals throughout his youth and into his adult life. He has bachelor of science degrees in Biology and Anthropology. He conducted his graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, obtaining a master of science in wildlife and fisheries conservation and doing work on bats and snakes. In 1999, Bridgewater awarded Corwin an honorary doctorate in public education.</p> <p>Jeff Corwin has been in a number of educational programs. From 1997 to 1999 Jeff Corwin hosted a show for Disney called Going Wild With Jeff Corwin. In 2000 Jeff partnered with Animal Planet and Discovery Communications serving as a host and executive producer for The Jeff Corwin Experience and Corwin’s Quest. Jeff worked with Animal Planet again in 2003 and hosted a documentary titled Giant Monsters. In 2007 Jeff hosted a show on the Travel Channel titled Into Alaska With Jeff Corwin, as well as being an environment correspondent for a special Planet In Peril for CNN. In 2009, Jeff partnered with Defenders of Wildlife to host the documentary series Feeling the Heat.</p>

Zoology is an exemplary specimen of a rare Hip Hop species, caged in its music, pacing and prowling, and ready to attack. In 2008, Zoology was born as a Hip Hop group incorporating all elements of the culture into its stage show. Over its life cycle it has metamorphosed into the live Hip Hop band monster it is today. Zoology’s live show is high-energy, and expresses a strong message of positivity. With aspects of soul, funk, and hip hop as its habitat, and spitting lyrics that speak of diversity, struggle, empowerment, politics, and social issues, The Zoo crew reaches out through its bars and relentlessly snatches the listener into awareness. Its clever wordplay and definitive rhyme schemes, along with catchy, anthemic choruses make Zoology a creative and intelligent creature, yet still invites spectators to groove and get hyped with the band. Consisting of long time denizens of Albuquerque Hip Hop culture, the band is: Former Garbage Pail Kid/Founder of Vinyl and Verses Hip Hop night, Flux451; one half of Definition Rare/Model Citizen/Battle hero, Wake Self; Producer/DJ/MPCist, Audiyo, Bassist/Producer, Spliff Roland, and Emcee/Producer/Drummer, Dahhm Life. The Zoo has performed with national acts such as Gift of Gab, Souls of Mischief, Chicharrones, Eyedea and Abilities, Mac Miller, and others. Winner of The Weekly Alibi's "Best Hip Hop" in 2010, Zoology has a fierce momentum and shows no sign of being tamed. The band has recorded its first album, which is scheduled to be released on Skull Control Records in summer 2011.
